Winter is over for me even though I get reports of one meter of fresh snows in Norway and friends popping off on split board missions in the north of Sweden. Myself, I’m about to head over to the states. A trip that has been long over due. Haven’t been there since I was twelve when me and my family visited my brother in Florida. I’m so excited!

So winter bye-bye! Thanks, it was fun, see you again next year. Now, hello summer and hello the American west!

In Östersund one friend was contemplating the perfect transition for his bachelor thesis whilst another a few miles away must have thought a mini ramp is a mini ramp is a mini ramp. Eskil, eager to drop in for the first time in his own mini ramp, graciously posed for this shot. Location: in the middle of nowhere.

The last week has been sick! After ten days of shooting snowboard my body is wrecked. But who am I to complain? I mainly sit still shooting pics of guys and girls stomping trick after trick, or getting up after slams that would see me bedridden for a month or so and still manage to be so easy going, friendly and with a work ethic that can only be described as punishing. I’m in awe. Marc Swoboda, Markus Keller, Eero Ettala, Cherryl Maas, Danny Larsen, Simon Gruber, Ludde Lejkner, Jonas Carlsson and so many more have been shredding in my old home slope Soulpark Bjursås this last week. If this can be called working I’ll never go on a vacation again!
